AI for Biotech Product Lab (AIBPL)

AIBPL is a 7-week cohort-based educational initiative that trains scientists and engineers to translate complex biomedical ideas into clear, responsible, and well-evaluated AI-driven product concepts. The program emphasizes product thinking, feasibility assessment, IP literacy, risk awareness, communication, and translational pathway understanding. It is educational and exploratory in nature and does not result in company formation, IP ownership changes, or commercialization commitment.

The program is open to UTSW graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, medical trainees, faculty, and research professionals interested in AI, biotech, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Cohort size is limited, and participants will be selected through a brief application process.
